A unit is one piece of research, taken all the way. A session of up to 90 minutes - or a batch of 100 short-form items, or one report - transcribed, decoded into observations, sharpened, validated claim by claim against its source, then enriched, clustered, turned into insights, super insights, initiatives, documents and moderation feedback. One price for the piece of work and everything reOS does with it.

1 unit: an uploaded interview or transcript, a live interview hosted on reOS, a meeting your recording bot joins, a written report, or 100 short-form items such as tickets, survey responses, feedback forms and reviews. 2 units: an AI-moderated interview, and an audio or video report - the piece of work itself, plus one unit for the AI doing the talking. A tenth of a unit: a recording under 10 minutes - a screen recording of someone trying your product, a short clip - counts as 10 short-form items rather than a whole unit.

Because they are about the same amount of reading. A hundred tickets or survey answers hold roughly as much text as a 90-minute transcript, and the analysis is the same either way. So we count short-form items in batches of 100: 100 items is 1 unit, 200 items is 2, 1,000 items is 10. A part-batch is rounded up to a whole one, so bringing in fewer than 100 still costs the single unit. An unusually long item - a thread the size of a transcript - counts as more than one.

Nothing dramatic. Your projects, data and team stay exactly where they are - you'll be asked to top up before starting new work that spends units. Top-ups are one click, at your plan's rate: $6 on Researcher, $5 on Team, $4 on Scale - roughly 20% more than a unit inside your plan, which is why the bigger plans work out cheaper once you run a lot.

Your monthly plan units reset each cycle. Units you buy as top-ups never expire - they sit in your balance until you spend them, and they are only touched once your monthly units are gone.

Every started block of 90 minutes counts as one more unit of the same kind. A 2-hour focus group is 2 units. A 3-hour one is 2 as well, since 180 minutes is exactly two blocks. It works the other way too: a recording you upload or capture that runs under 10 minutes is not a whole unit but 10 short-form items - so ten short screen recordings cost what one interview does. Live sessions - a hosted room, an AI-moderated interview, a bot in your meeting - always cost at least their one unit.

Only reaching people. Analysis, clustering, transcription, assistant chat, search, docs and storage are covered by your plan, however much you use them. Reaching participants is billed on top: campaign sendouts at $0.02 per recipient, and panel contacts beyond your plan at $10 per 1,000 a month.

No. Incentive payouts run through partner integrations - you connect your own payout account and reOS triggers the payment when a session completes. A $50 thank-you costs you $50, plus whatever terms you have with your payout partner.

No. Everything a unit brought in - recordings, transcripts, tickets, survey responses, docs - stays in your repository for as long as you're subscribed, on every plan. Your research gets more valuable as it accumulates. Export it any time.
